These take me way back to my childhood when I used to get together with my best friends and we would make these, watch movies, then scarf them all down. For me there is nothing better than a warm dessert topped with ice cream. And these hit the spot. A warm brownie with swirls of peanut butter. I've been making these for over 10 years, so you know they must be good! Ingredients: 1/3 cup chocolate chips 1 Tbs butter 1/3 cup peanut butter 2 Tbs vegetable oil 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 3/4 cup flour 1/4 tsp salt Directions: 1) Preheat oven to 325, and grease an 8x8 baking dish 2) Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave safe dish, until melted, stirring every 30 sec. (about 1-2 min) 3) In a separate bowl, beat peanut butter and oil for 1 min 4) Add sugars and beat until mixed. 5) Add eggs one at a time until combined. 6) Add vanilla, flour and salt 7) Take 1/3 cup of the mixture and add it to the chocolate mixture.
I love Indian food. I have tried numerous recipes at home trying to replicate the wonderful flavors that come from the authentic restaurants - no such luck. This recipe comes pretty darn close though. I think the simmering in the crock pot helps bring the spices out and hide the tomato taste. I like it spicy so I added cayenne and red pepper flakes - you can always omit these or lower these if you don't want the spice. This beef stroganoff uses ground beef and is delicious and yummy. I have another recipe where I use stew meat and I will post that later. This is a super quick recipe and does not take many ingredients. I use to love Hamburger Helper Beef Stroganoff and this is similar but homemade and much healthier. Ingredients: 1 Tbs olive oil 8 oz mushrooms 2 Tbs diced onion (optional) 1 lb ground beef 8 oz wide egg noodles 2 cups fat free milk (or any milk you have) 1 1/2 cups beef broth 1 Tbs corn starch salt and pepper 1/4 tsp paprika 2/3 cup sour cream Instructions: 1) Heat olive oil over medium heat, add onions and saute for 5 minutes until translucent.Season with salt 2) Add mushrooms and saute until tender. Set aside in bowl. 3) Add ground beef to the pan (season with salt and pepper) and cook until brown.
