Crockpot Stroganoff

This recipe is soooo good, and I always serve it with rice. It doesn't really have a strong 'stroganoff' taste so even if you don't like stroganoff I recommend you try it. I served this at a dinner party and it was gone so fast, everyone loved it.
You can serve with noodles or even mashed potatoes would be good - so it's up to you.

INSTAPOT! Works very well in the instapot :) Cook at high pressure for 30 min, steam sealing. Then add cream cheese and do another 3 min high pressure steam sealing. (manually releasing steam each time). Omitted the sour cream.

Ingredients:
1 can golden mushroom soup
1/3 cup water
2 lbs of stew meat
2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
A few dashes of cayenne (1/4-1/2 tsp)
1/2 tsp garlic salt
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion (or 1/2 large)
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
Salt and pepper

Directions:
1) Put the water, soup, Worcestershire, garlic salt, and cayenne into slow cooker and stir.

2) Season meat with salt and pepper then add to slow cooker with onions and mushrooms, stir again.

3) Cook for 8 hours at low.
4) Add cream cheese and sour cream to slow cooker then cook on high for 30 min, or low for another hour, or until the cream cheese is melted.

Enjoy!
As you can see there are still small chunks of cream cheese in mine (I love that, but most people don't so just cook longer if you would prefer no chunks)
